Centre Street Insurance is currently looking for an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our team. You will be responsible for servicing an existing book of business and growing the book through new business. You will be a self-starter who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As we are a service-oriented business, a passion for customer service is required but cold calling and aggressive sales tactics are not.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with co-workers, clients, and underwriters
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all existing clients including making changes, additions, deletions and renewals
  • Review policies, providing clients with options and recommendations, educate and explain to ensure proper coverage
  • Manage the collection and documentation of client information, quote and sell insurance to new and existing clients
  • Assist clients and get involved in the claims process, when needed
  • Continue self-development and remain up to date on insurance products through industry training opportunities & community involvement

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum Level 1 General Insurance License
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in personal lines insurance considered an asset
  • Experience with insurance company portals considered an asset
