Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles to OEM standards across engine, transmission, driveline, brakes, steering/suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
- Perform advanced diagnostics using OEM scan tools and service information systems.
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs within flat-rate guidelines; document findings, cause, and correction.
- Conduct quality control road tests and post-repair verification.
- Maintain clean work area; follow safety and environmental procedures.
- Mentor junior and apprentice technicians as needed.
- Communicate clearly with advisors on estimates, timelines, and additional findings.
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional automotive technician experience (journeyman level).
- AMVIC certification.
- OEM training/certification for brand preferred but not required).
- Proficiency with OEM and aftermarket diagnostic platforms.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR; ability to drive manual transmission.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and reaching.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and time-management skills.
