The Royal Tyrrell Museum Cafeteria is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to lead our front-line team. Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule the activities of kitchen, barista, and counter staff.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all food and beverages meet business quality and presentation requirements.
  • Inventory & Ordering: Assist in monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing waste.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health regulations.
  • Customer Relations: Resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally and ensure a top-tier guest experience.
  • Training: Train new staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or lead hand role within the food service industry is required.
  • Problem Solving: Strong ability to multi-task and make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Reliability: Exceptional attendance record and a high level of integrity.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems and basic kitchen/barista operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
