Cleaning/ Custodian Crew

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within a museum environment.

The ideal candidate will help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming space for visitors, staff, and exhibits.

Key Responsibilities:

• ‍‍Clean and sanitize public areas including galleries, hallways, restrooms, and entrances
• Dust and wipe display cases, fixtures, and surfaces (with care aroundexhibits)
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as required
• Empty garbage bins and replace liners
• Clean glass surfaces, doors, and windows
• Restock supplies suchas soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to supervisors
• Follow all safety and cleaning protocols, especiallyaround sensitive artifacts
• Ensure minimal disruption to visitors during operating hours

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is an asset(commercial or institutional preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Physically capable of lifting, bending,and standing for extended periods
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Ability to pass a criminal record check
• Respectful and professional behavior in a public setting

Work Schedule:

• ‍‍Morning, daytime, and evening shifts available
• Weekend availability may be required
