Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to engage with customers, promote products, and maintain a welcoming environment will be essential to our success.
**Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit payments.
Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options.
Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to enhance the customer experience.
Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
**Qualifications
Previous experience in gas station, retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
Bilingual skills are a plus, particularly in English and another language.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
Excellent time management abilities to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Ability to engage customers through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive approach to upselling and promoting store products.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products.
