As a Production labourer, your key responsibilities will be:
- Assisting in the processing of meat products, which may include trimming and portioning.
- Safely and accurately packaging meat products according to company standards.
- Monitoring product quality and reporting any deviations from quality standards to supervisors.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area by following food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Operating machinery and equipment as necessary, following safety guidelines.
- Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to ensure a smooth production process.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines. Complying with product specifications based on customer demands.
- Ensure food safety and GMPs are followed, including all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Be willing to cross-train and perform various tasks as assigned and needed.
Requirements: Previous work experience in the food industry will be considered an asset.
