Your Opportunity at SECURE
As General Labourer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the decontamination and disposal of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) waste. You’ll receive training in NORM detection and safety.
Your tasks will include detecting, surveying, handling, and decontaminating oilfield equipment, and waste using high-pressure water blast equipment. You’ll also sample, document, store waste, maintain decontamination equipment and prepare reports to meet client and regulatory requirements.
A Day in The Life
Ensure all SECURE safety policies and procedures are followed. Detecting, surveying, handling and decontaminating oilfield equipment and waste. Operate forklifts, skid steers, and wheeled loaders equipped with a pipe grapple. Load and unload flat decks safely and efficiently. Cleaning with high pressure water blast equipment. Maintenance of decontamination equipment. Sampling, documenting, and storing waste.
