Maintenance Man / Mechanic

Full-time position responsible for assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of a modern-day feedlot facility.

Perform minor and major repairs to buildings and facility equipment.

• Maintenance duties for buildings and outside facilities, including Electrical, Plumbing, Heating, Carpentry, and Structural.
• Maintenance of facility equipment and machinery operations, including grain prob, feed mill, water wells, cisterns, and fuel tanks/metering system.
• Assess equipment malfunction and repair, including adjustments, disassembly, R&R parts, or components, re-assemble and test for proper operation.
• Inspect, trouble shoot, diagnose, and advise as requested.
• Observe and report on upcoming preventative maintenance required.

Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a similar position

• Broad knowledge of Trade skills.
• Mechanically inclined, including hydraulics.
• Ability to diagnose malfunctions in equipment.
• Understand/interpret schematics and instructions.
• Proactive thinker, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
