Our Family Resource Network Office located in Drumheller is seeking a: Part Time Temporary Family Resource Network Coordinator

The FRN (Family Resource Network) is funded through the Childcare and Early Intervention Delivery Branch of The Ministry of Children and Family Services and has been created to provide Alberta families, children and youth aged 0-18 with evidence based and informed services. The services offered by the FRN will include child development, well-being supports, caregiver capacity building supports, and social connections and supports. The FRN will recognize and respond to the unique and diverse experiences the users have. The FRN will provide a continuum of prevention and early intervention services including universal, targeted, and intensive programming dependent on the need of the users.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Diploma at minimum, preferred Degree directly related to Human Services
  • Required 3 year of frontline human services experience, preferred 3 years of frontline human services experience as well as supervisory experience or exposure to supervisory experience
  • Proof of Membership in Professional Association (when applicable)
  • Experience in Community Development
  • Strong interpersonal skills, program planning and administrative abilities
  • Basic First Aid Level C with Adult, Child, and Infant CPR &AED
  • Suicide Intervention Training & De-Escalation Training
  • Intervention Record & Criminal Record Check with the vulnerable sector
  • Class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract and reliable vehicle for occasional client transportation required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working to build relationships with partners in the community.
  • Establishing a joint vision and outcome with other partners
  • Provide assessment, quality improvement and address any barriers that arise.
  • Has a clear understanding of the program goals, outcomes, and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and effectively manage program timelines to ensure the completion of program objectives.
  • Onboarding new employees.
  • Critical incident management.
  • Provide supervision, coaching and development to staff.
  • Knowledge and awareness of program budget and fiscal responsibilities.
  • Complete timely reporting based on organizational and contractual requirements.

Starting Wage: $32.26 per hour / $53, 680.64 annual. Plus, Travel Reimbursement at $0.57/KM.

Hours of Work: 32 hours per week, 8 hours per day Monday - Thursday. Candidates must be available to work select afternoons, evenings and weekends to provide programming that serves a wide range of populations.

Anticipated contract end date: September 21, 2026
