Provide custodial support at the Stettler Complex (Stettler Elementary School and William E. Hay Stettler Secondary Campus). The successful candidate will be required 4 hours/day Monday through Friday on the days that students are in class (approximately 180 days per school year). The position is a daytime shift starting at 10 am and ending at 2 pm. When selecting a candidate, a key consideration will be the willingness and availability to provide snow removal services from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on days when such services are required.
The primary responsibilities of this position include providing daytime cleaning to high-use areas such as cafeterias, washrooms, and entrances, as well as addressing any unexpected cleaning or minor maintenance issues that arise throughout the day. This position requires an individual with the physical ability to perform a variety of tasks, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 45 lbs. The role involves activities such as moving furniture, handling cleaning supplies and equipment, and performing other duties that require physical stamina and strength.
