POSITION SUMMARY
Working closely with the Recreation, Arts and Culture Program Coordinator, the Camp Coordinator is responsible for developing, planning and implementing, supervising and evaluating the summer day camp programs. Outside the box thinking, initiative and enthusiasm are necessary to create a memorable, fun and safe summer for the participants. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential to this role.
Qualifications:
This position is funded through the Canada Summer Job Grant Program and therefore you must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment and have the following qualifications:
Employment Category: Temporary (Summer Seasonal)
Hours per Week: Approx. 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Compensation: $23.22 - $28.51 (Program Coordinator – CUPE 4604)
Expected Start Date: May 18, 2026 Expected End Date: August 28, 2026
