The Town of Drumheller is seeking enthusiastic students to fill the position of Student Labourer at Public Works.
Position Summary: Performs manual work with our parks and public works crews, involving the use of common labouring tools (i.e., shovels, rakes, push brooms, push mower, wheelbarrows, etc). Involves the use of light duty trucks and light motorized equipment.
Qualifications: This position is funded through the Canada Summer Job Grant program and therefore you must be between 16 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment and have the following qualifications:
Employment Category: Summer Seasonal/Temporary
Hours per Week: 40 hours (Sunday – Saturday) Includes Weekend Work
*Please note that due to the seasonal nature of this role, time off will be limited
Start Date: May 06, 2025 End Date: August 29, 2025
Pay Scale: $22/hour (Student Labourer – CUPE 135)
