The Opportunity
We are looking for an organized, dependable Terminal Administrator to join our team at the Stettler Fertilizer Distribution Terminal. This is a hands-on, front-line role that keeps the terminal moving – scaling trucks in and out, managing paperwork, and serving as the on-site point of contact for drivers. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, take pride in accuracy, and like a mix of office and on-site work, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Scale trucks in and out, ensuring accurate weights and documentation.
- Act as the on-site focal point for truckers and drivers, delivering friendly, professional service.
- File and manage bills of lading (BOLs), third-party paperwork, and count sheets.
- Send BOLs to the Location Administrator for invoicing and complete weekly fertilizer reporting.
- Support rail releasing activities at the terminal.
- Assist Operations with paperwork, inventory counts, and ordering supplies.
- Keep the terminal office organized and complete monthly office inspections.
- Follow and promote safe work practices throughout the terminal.
What You Bring
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with paperwork and records.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced setting.
- Comfort working in a terminal/yard environment around trucks and equipment.
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Experience in ag retail, logistics, operations, or an industrial environment is an asset (but not required – we’ll train the right person).
Why Join CMN
- Health & benefits: 100% employer-paid health & dental premiums, with coverage starting immediately upon hire.
- Wellness & allowances: $500 annual Health & Wellness account, plus clothing, boot, and coverall allowances.
- Retirement: 3% RRSP matching that grows with your years of service.
- Time off: 3 weeks of vacation.
- Team culture: Company events including a golf tournament, hockey tournament, and Christmas party, plus support for training and growth.
