Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing Food Preparation: Supervise food prep to ensure that all items are made according to Pita Pit’s quality and safety standards.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of food service workers. Provide training and mentorship to new staff, ensuring that all team members are equipped to succeed in their roles.
Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional service to customers, address complaints or concerns promptly, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Inventory and Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure stock is stored and handled properly.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Scheduling: Assist in creating work schedules, ensuring that the store is appropriately staffed during peak hours.
Administrative Tasks: Handle cash register transactions, process payments, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness of food prep areas, dining area, and all customer touchpoints throughout the day.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a food service or supervisory role is an asset.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
A positive attitude and team player.
