Level 1 Early Childhood Educator (Casual to Full-Time Opportunity)

Wild Aspen Enrichment Center Inc. –Delia, Alberta

Do you enjoy working with children, spending time outdoors, and being part of a close-knit community? Wild Aspen Enrichment Center is seeking a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator (or Level 2or 3!!) to join our growing team.

This position offers casual, flexible hours throughout the summer, providing an excellent opportunity to become familiar with our program, children, and team. The role is expected to transition into full-time employment in Fall 2026.

Wild Aspen Enrichment Center provides childcare, preschool, kindergarten enrichment, out-of-school care, and community programming in Delia, Alberta. We believe children thrive through meaningful relationships, outdoor exploration, play-based learning, and strong community connections.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s learning, development, and well-being
• Engage children in play-based activities both indoors and outdoors
• Assist with daily routines, supervision, and transitions
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Work collaboratively with families and fellow educators
• Participate in program planning and community experiences

Qualifications

• Alberta Level 1 Early Childhood Educator Certification (required)
• Valid First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
• Reliable transportation
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills
