Down to Earth Landscapes is looking for a Museum Grounds Caretaker to help maintain a world-class facility with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. This is a long-term, full-season opportunity to be part of something unique.
As the caretaker of a nationally recognized museum’s outdoor grounds, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the space clean, vibrant, and welcoming year-round. From seasonal snow removal to plant care and general grounds maintenance, you'll help bring the highest standard of excellence to a site visited by thousands.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Performing daily litter control, grounds inspections, and site cleanups
- Maintaining plant health and landscaped areas, including watering, pruning, and weeding
- Operating small equipment like backpack blowers and snow removal machines
- Removing snow and ice from sidewalks and entrances during winter months
- Completing daily inspection and maintenance reports
- Ensuring the site remains clean, safe, and visually appealing for all visitors
What We’re Looking For:
- A motivated, independent self-starter who takes initiative
- Strong communication skills and a high standard of professionalism
- Competent with tools and light machinery, including backpack blowers, sweepers, and walk-behind snow machines
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Basic plant health care knowledge and a genuine interest in working outdoors
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Must reside within 30 minutes of Drumheller
