Season is from May to September

Duties:  

  • Preparing museum for season opening.
  • Customer service, marketing, and working with the public, in the tourism industry, will be an  asset.  
  • Developing ideas to market and increase visitor attendance.
  • Working with a Point of Sales system and reconciling cash/banking.
  • Guiding visitors and providing information on displays and artifacts.
  • Interacting with tours, school groups, and Seniors groups.
  • Working with the current artifact displays and maintaining their condition during the season.
  • Supervising any additional employees.
  • Working with a board of volunteers.
  • Participating and working on public events  at the museum.
  • Your duties may include working outside on the grounds and inside the museum.

Qualifications:

  • An interest and knowledge of early Canadian history, including the Town of Drumheller and surrounding area.
  • Ability to work with volunteers.
  • Ability to work with the public.
