Operations Assistant
Location: Drumheller, Alberta
Terms: Permanent Full-Time Position (overtime may be required)
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Alberta Class 3 Divers License
- Mechanical Knowledge
- Physically Fit
- Able to work from heights.
- Certifications preferred – WHMIS, TDG, First Aid/CPR, Forklift operation

About the role:
The Operations Assistant is responsible for general repairs and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Duties also include care and control of inventory, loading and unloading of trucks, deliveries to customer and other branches, and ensuring cleanliness and safe operations.
The Operations Assistant reports to the Operations Manager, Branch Manager, and Company Owners.
Responsibilities:
- Minor repairs and maintenance of rolling stock
- Minor repairs and maintenance of facilities and tools
- Shipping, receiving and inventory control
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Coordinate and perform deliveries
- Cleaning and organizing facilities and equipment
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety protocols
Candidate requirements:
- Safely operate equipment and motor vehicles
- Able to safely lift 60 lbs
- Able to climb vertical ladders to 140 ft and operate at heights
- Perform simple calculations and complete documentation
- Mechanical knowledge and ability
- Able to plan, coordinate and perform complex tasks
- Follow verbal/or written instruction
- Work with minimal supervision
