The Town of Stettler is looking to fill the full time permanent position of Water and Wastewater Utility Operator. This position is based on a 40 hour work week with the need for overtime/weekend work during emergent situations.
The successful candidate will have experience in operation and maintenance of water and wastewater utilities. Other responsibilities include water and wastewater line installation and replacement, water meter reading and replacements, Alberta One Call locates, general maintenance of facilities and assets. Equipment experience is a must.
You must be a highly motivated person with the ability to handle stressful, changing work environments with minimal supervision. You have a valid class five drivers license and class three with Q endorsement, a minimum grade twelve high school education, or equivalent. Candidate must be working to achieve certification from Alberta Environment with a Level II in Water Distribution and Level II in Wastewater Collection.
