Position Summary: Working closely with the Recreation, Arts and Culture Program Coordinator, the Camp Coordinator is responsible to develop, plan, implement, supervise and evaluate the summer day camp programs. Originality, initiative and enthusiasm are necessary to create a memorable, fun and safe summer for the participants. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
Qualifications:
This position is funded through the Canada Summer Job Grant program and therefore you must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment and have the following qualifications:
Employment Category: Summer Seasonal / Temporary
Hours per Week: Approximately 40 Hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Pay Scale: $23.22 - $28.51/ hour (Program Coordinator - CUPE 4604)
Start Date: May 20, 2025, End Date: August 29, 2025
