- Annual Salary at $68,000 - $75,584 depending upon experience and education.

Summary
We are seeking a safety-focused and motivated individual to join our team as a Truck Driver. This role involves
hauling materials, operating loaders, and performing snow removal to maintain roads and rights-of-way within
Special Areas 2, 3, and 4, all while upholding high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Description: Key Duties will include:
1. Operation of road hauling equipment to perform tasks such as hauling supplies and materials, loading and unloading gravel, operation of various sized loaders
- Operate a truck and pup/belly dump to move earth, rock, gravel, or other materials, utilizing machine specific controls and machine attachments to complete all necessary tasks related to loading and unloading. This includes operating on adverse terrain, in winter operations, and/or near other equipment and power lines.
2. Conduct field-level pre-job hazard analyses, inspect equipment for hazards, and assess tasks to identify and address existing and potential safety risks.
3. Reporting, equipment services and minor repairs
- Perform mechanical inspections and servicing, including controls and operations, complete logbooks, perform maintenance and adjustments, ensuring good housekeeping, and machine lubrication
- Deliver the Special Areas Safety Program and all reporting requirements
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in the operation of heavy industrial equipment related to construction and maintenance and/or driving heavy transport vehicles. A combination of experience/training will be considered.
- Valid Class 1 Drivers License issued in the Province of Alberta.
- Competent working knowledge in the care and use of all tools and equipment common to this position
- Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy, tact, and discretion in dealing with requests, complaints, and clarification of information.
- Physical capability to perform the job duties required. Lifting of over 50 lbs. and ability to enter and exit equipment/trucks required
