We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Property Manager to join our team. The position is critical to the success of our Customer Focused business. You will provide general maintenance and housekeeping for our full service Gym & Wellness Centre as well as 4 Temporary Accommodation suites and one Permanent Residence. This includes both indoor and outdoor work (i.e. landscaping).
Training is available for someone who has the desire and capability to learn. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Ongoing Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, and storage rooms.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked.
- Report and fix any general maintenance issues or repairs needed. Coordinate external contractor work when required.
- Follow established safety procedures and protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Assist in the organization of storage areas and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.
Summer Specific Responsibilities:
- Maintain outdoor areas: water plants, remove weeds, clear debris, and use a leaf blower as needed.
Winter Responsibilities:
- Adjust shifts based on business demands and personal schedule.
- Shovel and salt walkways after snowfall.
- Provide Reception coverage including oversee customer payments and security.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- 'Handyman' knowledge is a plus for understanding equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with electronics or mechanics can be beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential for understanding instructions and collaborating with team members.
This is a physically demanding job, candidates will be required to work both sitting and standing, climb stairs, work on ladders and be capable of lifting 50lbs. Where possible, a regular work schedule can be adjusted around your personal schedule.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
