We are seeking a dedicatedand enthusiastic Park Attendant to join our team at Handhills High-CountryHideaway. This role will report to the Park Manager and General Manager and is essential in ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
The Park Attendant will be responsible for maintaining
- The park's facilities
- Assisting guests
- Providing excellent customer service.
Ideal candidates will possess strong hospitality skills and a passion for working in an outdoor environment.
Responsibilities Maintenance:
- Perform maintenance tasks like mowing, weeding, and raking.
- Septic truck services to RV sites, maintenance of sites and all outdoor areas.
- General maintenance and repairs to small gas powered equipment such as mowers, trimmers and chainsaws
Cleaning:
- Clean and stock restrooms, showers, and the general store.
- Pick up trash from sites, clean fire pits, empty recycling bins, maintain the dog park, and paint and repair picnic tables or other items as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of General store and office area, including restrooms, picnic areas, mini golf,and playground.
Office and Store:
- Store/office coverage as needed, will include some weekends and evening as needed when demand is high at peak season.
- Monitor Park activities to ensure safety and compliance with park rules.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Assist in organizing special events or programs within the park. The role may or may notinclude all the responsibilities listed above, it will be dependent onexperience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality or facility maintenance is preferred.
- Strong maintenance and general repair background
- Experience working with a small team in a recreational setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with computers, POS and customer service.
