Driver

This position is covering an extended medical leave. Would be working 1 week on, one week off.

The Handi Bus is a local transportation service for persons with disabilities and senior citizens.

• Must have a Class 1, 2, or 4 license, Driver abstract, and Medical and Criminal record check with Vulnerable sector check.
• We operate Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Close 12-1 for lunch. Sometimes may have to work overtime until all clients are home.

Looking for someone who has experience working with seniors and persons with disabilities and is courteous and patient.

Drivers are responsible for the following:

• Collect fares and tickets purchased and keep track of daily stats on the bus.
• Complete the vehicle trip inspection sheet each day.
• Clean the bus and garage daily.
• Training provided

Ideal position for someone who is semi-retired.
